2011 Ferrari California
The Ferrari California is a road with a large convertible retractable hardtop. It represents several firsts for Ferrari: Ferrari front-engined V8 with a first, d first for function transmission 7-speed dual-clutch, d first with a folding metal roof, d first with the multilink rear suspension, and the first direct injection.
This Italian exotic is available in a four-seat convertible with a power folding hard top. The standard 453 horsepower 4.3-liter V8 sends power 7-speed dual-clutch with F1-style steering column-mounted shift paddles that allow for extremely fast gear changes. A six-speed manual transmission is available. Brembo brakes with carbon-ceramic material discs are standard. Optional magnetic fluid-filled shock absorbers react instantly to road conditions and driver inputs. A switch on the steering wheel, called manettino integrates the suspension, traction control, stability control and shifter systems and allows the driver to choose the optimum setting for current conditions. The standard stereo features CD/MP3/DVD a 30 GB drive, the system navigaton and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Options include interior trim carbon fiber, rear view camera and parking sensors front and rear.
The Ferrari California was all new for 2010 and was renewed for 2011.
