The Porsche 911 remains the long-lasting symbol of a sports car.

The 911 is available as either a coupe or a cabriolet, in rear-wheel drive as a Carrera model, or in all-wheel drive as a Turbo model. The 991-generation 911 Carrera is powered by a 350-hp direct-injection 3.4-liter flat six-cylinder, and also the Carrera S is powered by a 400-hp direct-injection 3.8-liter flat six-cylinder engine. The Turbo may be a five hundred-hp version of the 3.8-liter (530-hp within the Turbo S). Transmission choices are a six-speed manual for the Turbo, a seven-speed manual for the Carrera and Carrera S, or an optional seven-speed twin-clutch known as PDK is on the market for all models. Standard safety features on all 911 models embrace bi-xenon headlights, six airbags, front belt pretensioners, engine immobilizer, security system and electronic stability management. The cabriolets also have auto-deploying roll-over protection.

For 2013, the Turbo continues on as a 997-generation with the addition of a "918 Spyder" Edition of which only 918 will be made and they can only be offered to customers that have lined up to shop for the approaching 918 Spyder Hybrid supercar.
